Put a small slit in the stem then slide another stem through the slit.Continue the process then knot the last one.I used to do this all the time as a child. These and clover chains too:) Well don't I just look silly!!! Thanks for the memory though I had forgotten all about that!!;)
I am making "daisy chain bracelets" but i am clueless on where to start or finish! please help!?
When I did bead work 100 years ago, I would attach one end of the beading thread to the end of the bracelet clasp and go until it was the length I wanted it, then hook it to the other end and weave the thread bach about an inch. Don't know if that's what you meant or not.

ok so here is my essay topic that i need to write about:
Would you characterize diasys and gatsbys relationship as a love match? are they genuinely in love with one another or with something else. Discuss and explain fully

Pot the seeds and grow the shoots indoors, then replant..... it'll give them a better start

Reply:Your doing it backwards. You have to clear the grass and cultivate your soil. Then put down your seeds, lightly cover them with soil, water. Keep them moist until they germinate . Then you can let the grass grow with them. The seeds won't do much the way your trying because they are fighting the grass roots for everything they need to grow.
Reply:sprinkle some hay over the top off the seeds....the birds are getting fat. ha!!! serious...it holds moisture, protects from hot sun...the seeds will sprout and grow right out thru the hay.
Reply:If your lawn is growing really well then the seed will not have a chance, the grass will crowd them out and cause them to die. You really need a rather neglected lawn for sucess, and preferably one that has not been fed, and most certainly not treated with weed killer.
Reply:IT SHOULD ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED THAT BUTTERCUPS - Ranunculus repens - is toxic plant. Belonging to the family of ranunculu, all of which are toxic. The handling Buttercups should never be taken lightly.

You should kill the grass (clear plastic in the heat of summer will kill it and all seeds in the ground) That will also soften the ground. This fall ask someone to till your lawn then in the spring sow your seeds and gently rake the dirt over them. Then sit back and wait. That should do it!

if you get stuck you can have some of my weeds .lawn tip ie let your grass grow and raise the height of your cut to 3/4 of an inch this will allow weeds to get a grip of your lawn .

They were short because they wanted to show of their leg muscles. It was deemed more "manly" back in those days. The shorts went long around the mid 90s, during the Jordan era. The changes were made to fit the current fashions, most likely with MJ's new line of clothing.

Daisy Scouts funding?
I have decided to be a leader for my daughter's year in Daisy Scouts. I have the leader's manual that states the Daisies cannot perform fundraisers. I do not want to nickel and dime the toher parents. How did you other Daisy leaders raise money?

I would suggest that you pair up with a sister troop, and go in with them on outings. The Girl Scouts in your area will also offer low-cost things that the Daisies can attend.

well sort of, the shorts are called that because daisy duke made wearing really short shorts popular, so they became known as "daisy dukes"... its kind of like how a person's signature is referred to as a "john hancock"
