About how many blooms will my gerbera daisy produce?

Do I need to cut back the faded blooms?

About how many blooms will my gerbera daisy produce?
It is really hard to say how many blooms a gerbera will produce, but they do flower all summer long. Each plant will produce between 3 and 10 blooms at a time....and yes, once they are wilted, you may cut back the spent flower to encourage more blooms. Also, gerbers are some of the longer lasting cut flowers, so bring them in and enjoy them indoors as well!

Did you know you can also propagate your gerber daisies by taking softwood cuttings of them? Look at this link for more info: http://www.excite.es/search/web/detail?_...

Happy Gardening!
