Why did the author of the great gatsby give daisy her name?

daisy is white and golden, shes pale and blonde. shes bright and full of sunshine. she is fragile and can be torn apart piece by piece. i need a lot more things by tonight. i need to write a long paragraph on why the author gave daisy that name.

Why did the author of the great gatsby give daisy her name?
like the flower, a daisy is white and golden yellow colour, its nice and warm and golden inside with white, angelic sides to her as a character, the goldeness of the flower could signyfy her hair and the paleness of her skins the daisy petals, and Diasys come out in the sunshine, A daisy can easily be torn apart piece by peice by anyone - a daisy is also full of Purity and innocence - just like Daisy in the book.

Hope ive helped you greatly :)
