I need help sighting my daisy air scope?

i bought a daisy 880s with a daisy 808 scope to kill the dam squirrels in my backyard. so i put on the scope and its way off. so how do i "zero" my scope to shoot where the cross hairs meet?

which way should i turn the elevation to go up or down and same with the windage?

I need help sighting my daisy air scope?
You'll never zero it in. Its going to continually come loose and it will never be accurate, never ever.

Its a $10 scope, you cant expect much. You'd be better off buying a cheap scope meant for a .22.
Reply:in order to move the "shot group" to the left on the target adjust the windage clockwise, in order to move the "shot group" up on the target adjust the elevation counter clockwise... vice versa for right and down. Report It

Reply:try a bore sighter
Reply:Hey, $149...Beeman Game Master with 3-9x32 scope. 1200 to 1400 fps with one breech-break (breech barrel). Sell the Daisy, mow some yards, shovel snow, whatever. Buy the real thing and be happy about your purchase. Daisy was great when you were 9. Now, if you want to be serious in the air rifle world get a serious shooter. No offense, just advice.

Good luck
Reply:Maybe you should opt for a Adult Precision Air rifle like the ones made by Gamo.

Velocity: 1200 feet per second (fps) with PBA, 1000 fps with Lead

These are actually very high quality air rifles and come with a 3-9x40 standard reticle air rifle scope with one piece solid mount.

Keep in mind this is not a toy gun!
Reply:take it back and buy a ruger 10/22 it will doo a much better job and its really fun to shoot
Reply:Honestly, the $35 Wal-Mart special is a great buy, just toss the scope. Without a scope, I've found this to be remarkably accurate, right out of the box with 3 different examples.
Reply:dude take it back mine had the same problem and u never can get it sighted in right and now i haven't even had it 2 months and it is leaking air and wont shoot a pellet worth a damn please take this advice and return it get your money back and use it for something better or by a different brand but don't end up like me thanks hope this helps
Reply:i would bet, that the best thing you can do with your TOY, is go to a forum, where other kids %26amp; their TOYS hang out --- Outdoor Recreation _ Other.

maybe they can help you.

this forum, is usually used by people, asking questions about REAL guns %26amp; hunting.

besides, you should have read the owners manuel , regarding the toy scope
