What do you think of the name Daisy Scarlett?

Reply:This is a beautiful name but I'd recommend you switch the two names around. This name would be adorable on a litlle girl, but imagine the poor adult female trying to prove herself in a boardroom as Daisy or as Dr. Daisy Such-and-such. God-willing, we are adults much longer than we are children. Parents should keep that in mind when they name their children. Scarlett sounds much more suitable for an adult woman.
Reply:I really like the name Daisy. I would not choose Scarlett for a middle name though. Too much goin on. Scarlett Rose is very beautiful and so is Daisy Mae...but that sounds a little too Dukes of Hazard for me. lol Daisy Marie is a little better I think. My daughters name is Ella Marie. Cute huh?

You could consider Dasia Scarlett with the nn of Daisy, though.

Reply:I like both names, but it doesn't seem like they go together...because Daisy...is a more gentle, homey type of name and lovely naming after your grandmother. Scarlett reminds me of Scarlett O'Hara in the movie....a whole different type of name.





So it seems like Daisy ought to go with Lynn, or Marie, or Anne, etc. while Scarlett should go with ...i have no idea...but it is a pretty name on its own....and I have friends who found names a long time before they had children...and then they used them!

Used as a nickname, there's always the choice of going by something else if she doesn't like how young it sounds, but you still honour your grandmother.
