Now, that's just funny! I think they were part of a series that was available years ago in supermarkets ... and I think I actually owned part of that series! Don't remember much about it, but it seemed that my neighbors and I all had bits and pieces of those same dishes, and we used to joke that if we put all of what we had together, we might have the complete set! Who knows, they might be priceless by now!
I like that commercial, too ... kinda brought back the memories!
