Daisy chained or piggy banked router: how do I access router behind router A?
You have to allow router B to be managed from it's uplink (WAN) port. It should have an IP address in the range that your A router is giving out. Depending on the router it may be found under remote management. If your router does not allow remote management, you will have to put the routers inside interface ip address in a dmz or port forwarding list. Post your router make and model and I can tell you more details.
Reply:You are connected to router A I assume. My guess is you are getting an IP address from router A, which is a different network that router B. You will need to either plug your computer directly into router B to manage it, or configure the devices to let you manage one from the other... IE using port forwarding.
Reply:You need to activate NAT (network address translation) on your router A. This will allow you to forward any traffic destined to an specific ip from a public IP to an internal ip. Port forwarding could also work if configured properly
