Go for something in a complementary shape and color. Try marigolds, snapdragons etc. Avoid anything that looks to similar to your daisies. For added interest, try some tall grass or a trailing ivy in your planter too!
Reply:For planters, the rule is that you need thrillers, spillers and fillers. Your daisies can be your thrillers, you can add something light and airy like asparagus fern for your filler, and for spillers you can add variegated ivy, creeping jenny, sweet potato vine or vinca vine to tumble over the edges. Wave petunias are great for containers that get enough sun -- hot pink is always good!. Add a spike for height.
Reply:Difficult to answer without knowing the size of the planter.Trailing Lobelia will give a different dimension and cover up the base of the "daisy-like" flowers. If the container is large enough, try a bronze lily as a centre-piece.
Reply:I would consider a grassy plant as well as a trailing down the planter type ( I love lobelia for this)

Don't use something too brightly coloured as this will detract from the daisies.
