Can you dry out a daisy in the oven without turning it brown?

The oven will turn the daisy brown.

I'd press it between the clear plastic pages of a photo album. I have several flowers in mine that have retained their color.

It doesn't do well with roses, though.

Can you dry out a daisy in the oven without turning it brown?
You can use your oven by just turning the light on, and NOT the heat... the light works as a gentle warmer... but the best way to save your daisy would be silica sand from a hobby store, or press it in a book! Good Luck!
Reply:I press mine in a book between two sheets of white paper toweling. They press beautifully and retain their color.
Reply:Your daisy will even discolour with the use of silica gel. Also, after they're dried, you'll need to use a fine bead of glue under the dried petals to keep them from falling off. They are very delicate.
