Why is daisy(from the great gatsby) dishonest?

daisy is dishonest. shes a cheater, she broke gatsbys promise, she says she loves tom, and never did. what other things is there that can prove that she is dishonest?

Why is daisy(from the great gatsby) dishonest?
Because Daisy is a self centered narcissistic woman who doesn't care for anyone - not even her own child. Daisy is all about Daisy - and she proves that when she kills Myrtle and lets Gatsby take the rap. Pax-C
Reply:The biggest thing I can think of that nobody's touched on so far is a scene in which she's cheating on Tom with Gatsby, Tom goes into a back room and Daisy throws herself on Gatsby, showering him with kisses. Through the narrative, it's clear to the reader that although Gatsby loves Daisy with all his heart, Daisy is only cheating on Tom with Gatsby because she seems to like the thrill of doing something naughty and taboo.
Reply:There is a scene where Gatsby is showing her his house. And when he starts showing his expensive shirts, she begins crying because that is when she realizes that Gatsby can only pretend to be sophisticated, but will never have the kind of class that she needs in a man.

She doesn't break it off with him, but lets him continue hoping.

The narration doesn't come right out and explain these things, but that's the message.
Reply:screw daisy...beeatch reminds me of my ex with her dumb actions!
